Telomoyo
Mount Telomoyo is located approximately 55 km from Semarang, the capital city of Central Java Province. From its peak (1898 m) we can see the Rawapening lake, Salatiga city, Ambarawa city, Mount Merbabu, and Mount Ungaran. There is road to reach the top of the mountain with beautiful view of the surrounding nature. In 1997, hang gliding pilots took off from the top of Telomoyo mountain for the first time. Since then, Mount Telomoyo become one the main flying site for hang gliding communities in Indonesia.
The first hang gliding competition in Mount Telomoyo was held in 2002; and in 2014, The Gantolle Jakarta Hang gliding club, initiate the first Telomoyo Cup International Hang Gliding Competition.
Mount Gajah Telomoyo is a lower mountain from Mount Telomoyo that located 3 km North East of Mount Telomoyo. With the height of 1300 meter above sea level, it was designed and developed to become hang gliding and paragliding take off site in early 2020.

The Games of LAW (Land, Air and Water)
In 2014, Telomoyo Cup started with an international hanggliding competition. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition was stopped for 2 years, and when it started again in 2022, we added a paragliding competition to enliven the Telomoyo Cup championship.
Seeing the potential of the natural beauty around Mount Telomoyo, it would be more exciting if there were other sports that could add to the types of competitions in this Telomoyo Cup. So in 2023, we opened ourselves to organizing Trail Run, and made our event more festive where the element of joy is also part of the tough competition.
Then, this year, 2025, Telomoyo Cup welcoming the presence of Stand Up Paddle Race, at Rawa Pening Lake. The lake that always become the main view for any pilots flying in the Telomoyo aerodome.
So, we can call the 2025 Telomoyo Cup is the Games of LAW, the Land, the Air and the Water.
